–noun

The United States Boxer Association (USA-BOX) was formed in 1993 to preserve the original working heritage of the Boxer. We are the only legitimate Boxer sport organization in the United States of America that is partnered with the American Working Dog Federation for the advancement of dog sports in the USA.  We are the only authorized American representative of ATIBOX.  USA-BOX also works in close partnership with the BK - German Boxer Club.

Our shows and trials follow the German/European Sieger show and trial model as set forth by the German Boxer Club and ATIBOX. We also accept and abide by the FCI standard for the Boxer breed.

Many of our members, to prove the ongoing merits of the Boxer as a premier working dog, train and participate in schutzhund, agility, competive obedience, tracking, detection, search and rescue, herding, carting and many other dog sports.  Each of these sports require a dog that's both mentally and physically able to perform the chosen sport.  Not every Boxer has what it takes to be a dog sports “super star”. Even Boxers bred from strong working lines have varying levels of drive(s) and different levels of individual interest in particular activities. That doesn't make one Boxer better than another, though. Oh no!  EVERY Boxer is the greatest dog on the face of the Earth! You may have a schutzhund star.  Another may rock the obedience and agility rings. One may be an all-around type that loves to do everything and does everything quite well. Another may be quite content to play in the yard with the children and go for leisurely walks.  Regardless of your Boxer’s particular “job”, there is no greater reward than knowing that it brings a smile to your face every single day of its life!
